Two anti-dust tunnels located at the edges of the fans catch incoming dust and dirt particles and channel them back out of the chassis. These measures improve overall system stability by preventing build-up that can compromise the performance of internal cooling components. Self-cleaning cooling ensures long-term system reliability that truly lives up to the TUF name.
Three heatsinks keep performance stable and reliable, even during marathon gaming sessions where heat can compromise your FPS. The stronger and more resilient chassis design also enables the addition of more vents, increasing airflow through the laptop.
Scenario Profiles automatically change operating modes to optimize performance and acoustics for different games and applications. Turbo mode uses the highest fan speed and clocks to sustain maximum speed, Performance mode adjusts the clocks and cooling to lower noise levels for gaming, and Silent mode runs even quieter for lighter work and entertainment. You can customize Scenario Profiles to seamlessly switch modes based on your preferences, or use a keyboard shortcut to change modes manually.
Upgrading your RAM and SSD is simplified with an easy-upgrade design that gives you fast access to memory slots and storage bays. With a standard screwdriver, you can easily remove the screws at the bottom of the chassis to make your desired modifications. A special pop-open screw raises one corner of the bottom panel, making it easier to separate. Quickly upgrade or replace your RAM, or increase your responsive SSD capacity by adding a second PCIe® drive.
